Brooklyn Bowl Nashville

Brooklyn Bowl Nashville is a 1,200-capacity Germantown music room where a concert floor shares the building with 19 bowling lanes. The distinction is practical as well as playful: ten lower lanes sit beside the stage, putting pins and performers in the same sightline. The venue welcomed ticketed audiences in June 2021 after a delayed start, bringing Peter Shapiro’s Brooklyn Bowl operation to Nashville as its third U.S. location at the time.

A delayed launch, then a hometown opening

Brooklyn Bowl announced its Nashville expansion in December 2019, with a March 14, 2020 public debut planned for the new 1,200-capacity room. The format joined a concert venue, bowling alley and Blue Ribbon food program, following Brooklyn Bowl locations in Williamsburg and Las Vegas. Company co-founder Peter Shapiro framed the project as a Music City outpost built around a broad touring calendar and local or regional talent.

The March 2020 tornado and the COVID-19 shutdown stopped that launch. On March 12, the venue postponed its opening, then spent the ensuing pause producing livestreams with artists including Jason Isbell, Margo Price and Billy Strings. Physical audiences finally arrived on June 25 and 26, 2021, when Nashville’s Old Crow Medicine Show headlined the opening weekend. That pair of hometown shows gives the room’s origin story its clearest live-music marker.

The showgoing setup

Booking inquiries run directly through the venue, and the billings have covered rock, roots, indie, jam-oriented acts and other touring formats. Concerts use a general-admission standing floor, with ADA seating available for guests who need it; Pollstar also reported a one-floor, 600-capacity configuration for smaller acts. Two levels, four bars, stage-adjacent lower lanes and a patio facing First Horizon Park make arrivals and set breaks part of the evening’s design.
