1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CrowdMate ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
CrowdMate (formerly Concert8) is a mobile application for iOS and Android that allows users to:
- Discover upcoming concerts and live music events
- See which concerts friends are attending
- Mark concerts as "going" to share with friends
- Receive personalized concert recommendations
- Browse venue and artist information
- Rate concerts they have attended and invite friends to a show
- Create or join a private or public concert group for a specific concert, chat with its members, pin a night plan, and share invitation links
The App is free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CrowdMate. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older. We may suspend or close any account that does not meet this requirement.
4. Account Terms
4.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Post offensive, hateful, or inappropriate content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
- Use automated systems to access the App without permission
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it within the App. Messages, night plans and invitations you post in a concert group are user content in the same way, and are visible to the other members of that group. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and may remove any content that violates these terms. Retention periods, including the removal of group content 90 days after a group is archived, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ClairAI SASU and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Third-Party Services
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as ticket sellers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.
9. Concert Information
While we strive to provide accurate concert information, we do not guarantee the accuracy of event details, dates, times, or venue information. Always verify event details with official sources before attending.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The App is free of viruses or harmful components
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClairAI SASU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. As the App is free of charge, our total liability shall not exceed 100 euros. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under French law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. Where a report or a safety issue requires it, we may also hide a message, archive a concert group, or suspend an account’s participation in concert groups without closing the account itself, and we may restore participation after review. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the App; the exact steps, and what happens to your data, are set out at crowdmate.app/delete-account. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.

Concert group community rules
Concert groups, like the rest of the App, are for adults aged 18 and over. Do not post threats, harassment, sexual exploitation, discriminatory abuse, malicious links or spam. Do not share another person’s private information without consent. Automated EN/ES screening provides a baseline; reports are reviewed by human operators who may hide messages, archive groups or suspend group participation. Reports alone do not cause an automatic ban.
Joining a group shares your display name and new messages with its members. Invitation links may be forwarded. Group participation is separate from attendance and friendship. You may report content, block people or leave. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
