HERE at Outernet

Known as HERE at Outernet through June 2026 and now trading as Outernet Live, this is central London’s 2,000-capacity underground concert room, four levels below St Giles Circus. Its defining feature is scale with built-in production: the main space carries a 6K, 14-by-5-metre LED screen, repeaters, lighting and a d&b sound system. The result is a room designed for touring acts and club crowds who want a full visual frame around the performance.

A new room beneath Denmark Street

HERE arrived as part of Outernet’s redevelopment around Denmark Street, the historic music-business quarter. Outernet creator Laurence Kirschel spent over a decade on the London project before the wider district opened in November 2022; the concert venue itself was purpose-built below the development, giving central London its largest newly built live-events room since the 1940s. Its opening night came earlier, on 9 September 2022, when Annie Mac launched her Before Midnight club night in the 25,000-square-foot space. That first season set the intended breadth: electronic and club programming alongside gigs, drag, comedy and immersive theatre. On 24 June 2026, Outernet announced a rebrand from HERE at Outernet to Outernet Live, tying the room closer to the district and a revised programming strategy.

The room now

Outernet Live books pop, electronic, indie and rock alongside cultural events, theatre-style presentations and private hires, so the format can shift sharply from show to show. For a standard concert, expect a large standing floor facing the LED-backed stage, with a mezzanine above offering elevated sightlines and its own bar. The house lists three standard stage configurations, while its production team can reshape the room for launches, screenings and seated events. Check the event format before arrival: capacity and audience layout vary with the build.
