About Void Club & Hall

VOID Club & Hall in Berlin is a 600-capacity electronic-music venue built for all-night movement across club rooms, hall and outdoor area. Its distinguishing feature is the March 2023 addition of VOID Hall, a former Kulturhaus Kili space that lets one bill spread between distinct areas or allows parallel events. The result is a compact, multi-room choice for ravers who prize bass weight, genre variety and room to wander.

A club becomes a hall

VOID Club began in July 2015; music-information service miz.org lists Matthias Paulus as proprietor and describes a program of roughly 100 electronic concerts each year. The venue frames its founding ethos as “by ravers, for ravers,” with local crews, residents and visiting DJs forming the core of its programming.

Its pivotal expansion arrived in 2023. Kulturhaus Kili, the neighboring 100-square-metre cultural space with a 120-square-metre courtyard, closed in February; VOID took it over and opened VOID Hall in March. That change gave the operation a dedicated hall alongside the original club and made combined indoor-and-yard events possible. A December 2023 “Same Same But Different” bill demonstrated the new scale, programming techno and rave in the Hall, drum & bass in the main room, bass music in the bar and rock, pop and punk in the Hotbox.

The room today

Expect DJ-led nights centered on drum & bass, techno, hardtechno, trance, psytrance, house, bass music and hardcore, with local collectives sharing bills with international guests. Three systems—Turbosound, Kling & Freitag and Adamson—anchor the sound-first approach. VOID Hall has step-free access and a wheelchair-accessible toilet by its entrance; the original Club begins beyond six steps and has tighter facilities. The bar keeps 23 whiskies alongside its broader drinks selection, while the outdoor area gives larger events a release valve between sets.
