Delete Your CrowdMate Account

This page explains how to delete your account for CrowdMate: Concerts & Gigs (published by ClairAI SASU), and exactly what happens to your data when you do.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself in the app

This is immediate and needs no approval from us.

1. Open the CrowdMate app and make sure you are signed in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. On iPhone: tap Edit Profile, scroll to the Danger Zone section and tap Delete Account. On Android: under Settings, tap Privacy Settings, then Delete Account.
4. Confirm when asked. You may be prompted to sign in again first — this protects your account from being deleted by someone else using your phone.

Your account is deleted as soon as you confirm, and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, or you have uninstalled the app, email support@crowdmate.app from the email address registered on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm your identity, action the request, and reply to confirm. We aim to respond within 48 hours and to complete verified requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes all of the following permanently:

• Your sign-in credentials and account identifier
• Your profile: display name, email address, profile photo, city and country, and favourite genres
• Every concert you marked as going or interested in
• Your concert ratings and written reviews
• Your friends, friend requests, and concert invitations you sent or received
• The artists you follow, the venues you favourited, and your saved searches
• Your notification preferences and the push token for your device

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you is kept. Two things are worth stating plainly:

• The concert listings themselves are not your data. CrowdMate's catalogue of venues, artists and shows comes from public sources and stays in the app after you leave. Attendance counts on a show are simply reduced by one.
• Backups. Your data may persist in encrypted backups for a short period after deletion. These are purged within 30 days, after which no copy remains.

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself where we are required to do so by law, for example to demonstrate that a request was honoured.
